DKLB BKLN is a 34 story mixed use tower in Brooklyn, NY.  The project delivered in late 2009 and contains 365 rental residential units, 5,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and 129 below grade parking spaces.  The site is an infill location in Fort Green and is within walking distance of eight subway lines, Long Island University Brooklyn Campus, the MetroTech employment center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (“BAM”) Cultural District, the Atlantic Terminal, Fulton Street Pedestrian Mall, the Fort Greene brownstone neighborhoods and Fort Greene Park.  The outstanding location and the strong sponsorship by Forest City gave National the confidence to provide a mezzanine loan and credit enhancement for the project in the summer of 2008.
